Healthy indoor activities to follow in this covid 19 pandemic

covid 19
Life is uncertain. Who knew our busy and brisk life would end up within the boundaries of our home for almost a year now because of Covid 19.

First time in our life we are having so much time that we are finding it hard to use it properly and therefore, we are binge-watching NETFLIX shows, gossiping for hours, sleeping day-long and browsing up to late-night at.

But wait, is it right to pass the days like this? Umm.. well I don’t think so.

Therefore, I’m going to share Healthy indoor activities to follow in this covid-pandemic.

These activities have been quite beneficial for me and hopefully, they will be for you as well.

Reading

Science says reading is an exercise for your brain, as the exercise keeps your body active so does reading to your brain. It stimulates your brain, reduces the stress level, boosts your knowledge, enhances your vocabulary and it is a great source of entertainment as well.

if you don’t like reading it is just because you haven’t come across the right book.

If you don’t have a book around you just search for a blog of your interest on Google.

Or if you don’t feel like reading you can just listen to an audiobook. Choices are enormous you see.

Lately, I have been reading a lot and it has been a wonderful experience. I have learned many new things that I never knew before.

Let me know in the comments if you want my top 10 favorite books in this pandemic.

Learning a new skill

What did you love to do when you were younger? We all had some passions when we were younger but with growing age, we tend to focus more on our studies and meeting our tough schedules.

But now, this isolation period is the most suitable time to bring that child back whether it was painting, piano, cooking or even learning a new language. We can do it now.

As they say, “There is no age limit for learning besides, every age is for learning’.

it has never been that easy to learn a new skill that it is now due to the internet.

Exercising

Healthy indoor activities
Don’t forget to take good, very good care of your health. We are not allowed to go outside but that doesn’t mean we can’t do exercise. There are plenty of exercises that do not require much space; they could be done even in the backyard of your house like skipping, squats, push-ups.

Give at least 20 minutes every day to your body and your body will be thankful for that for you.

Conclusion:

Our goal is to get out of this pandemic being even better than what we went into it, that is by being more knowledgeable, more skilled, and healthier. When the rest of the world is wasting their time in unhealthy activities, we are putting value into our lives.

I would love to hear your routine in this pandemic in the comment box.
