Bread is a very important component of many dishes. From time to time we have to find creative ways to use the leftover bread and it is very difficult to think every time something change for leftover bread. I tried to solve all trouble here, which is why this list is pretty exhaustive. I tried to put all ways to use your leftover bread (From soup to breakfast casseroles), so there is nothing that goes to waste.
French toast
Egg and Toast Cups
Put bread pieces in muffin cups and bake at 375°F for 5 minutes
now Crack the egg into a small cup and beat them, gently pour the egg into the muffin
cups upon the toasted bread. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and herbs as you like.
Bake until the eggs are set, or about 15-20 minutes. Be creative and use any type
of toppings, like cheese, olives, onions, diced tomato, and even minced
jalapeno. As we know stale toast is barely recognizable when it's all toasty
and crunchy
Panzanella
Panzanella
is an Italian dish. Our leftover bread will work fine in the dish because Panzanella
salad is made of tomatoes and bread soaked in tomato juices, vinegar, and olive
oil. You can add a protein like a steak or shrimp to turn this Panzanella into a
main dish meal.
Bread Soup
You can make Italian bread soup with leftovers. Make vegetable soup or minestrone, and simply add chunks of bread in
it. Make sure the bread slices are toasted before adding in the soup.
Breadcrumbs
It is very easy to make homemade breadcrumbs from leftover bread instead of buying from the market. Put the bread leftover slices in the cookie sheet, Toast until golden brown then flips the bread over and wait until the other side is brown. Now let the slices cool, when you see the slices at room temperature, now the time is to blend the pieces in the blender until you have fine crumbs.
You can store them in an air-tight jar or can freeze them for longer storage. Bread crumbs are a great binder for many dishes like Potato kababs, Meets kebabs and crab cakes.
Croutons
Stale bread is better than soft sandwich bread to make croutons. Let’s make the croutons preheat the cookie sheet at 350°F. Cut the bread into 2 inches cubes and put in a bowl, now toss the cubes with oil, salt and pepper until each cube is coated. Now arrange the cubes in a preheated cookie sheet in a single layer. Bake until golden brown, it will take 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven wait until cool down, when you see it at room temperature, now you can enjoy it in your salad. If you want to add any taste, add spices and herbs before the toast.

Romesco Sauce
It is a delicious red pepper sauce that can be used for soups, Salad, pizza,
grilled meats, eggs, sandwiches, and many other dishes. Toast the bread slices
before adding. Romesco is made
with basic pantry ingredients and ready in 5 minutes. Put all these ingredients
in blender roasted bread, roasted red pepper, roasted almonds, sun-dried
tomatoes, garlic, sherry vinegar, fine sea salt and start drizzling in the
olive oil while running the blender. Blend until you reach your desired
consistency.
