bingeing, and purging.
Tips to Manage Eating Disorders

Create a new routine
•
Prevent using social media
•
Seek assistance
•
Believe you are strong
•
Prioritize recovery
Create a New Routine
In
the pandemic, everything you are doing must be done by staying at home. Your
home is your office, cafe and socializing place. This may trigger some bad
habits that you overcame in the past. It is important to make a routine and
manage your work, food, and exercise. Don’t abandon your meal.
On
your phone, make a schedule that will help you with your daily life including
work, meals, and exercise. Don’t let this pandemic make you lose all your
progress you did to overcome eating disorders. Health and fitness always come
first.
Prevent Using Social Media
As
we all know, during any event or pandemic there are memes, posts, and news
about it everywhere on social media. Be Careful, idealistic posts and even
jokes like memes can hurt you. People post about their weight or body getting
skinny, but you must not overwhelm yourself with depressing thoughts as they
have a direct connection to your body.
Use
text, calls, skype to communicate with others than Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, Reddit. Prevent using social media, and keep yourself away from the
news.
Seek Assistance
Reach
out for help and assistance. Make sure you are getting support if it's
difficult for you to keep up on your own. Don’t be in a dilemma to reach out to
your friends or family for help. Take help from professionals, go-to meal
support centers as they will help you organize your meal routines.
Believe you are Strong
You
must believe that you can survive this pandemic. You are not alone in this,
this pandemic is affecting almost every single human alive. Just maintain your
daily routine and eat after regular intervals. Keep in touch with your friends
and family. Your eating disorder is not your weakness. A Lot of people might be
dealing with the same thing, they are also trying their best to stay strong and
you must too.
